AGUS HONOURS SENIOR MEMBERS OF THE GHANAIAN COMMUNITY

In addition to all these, the occasion was also used to honour some Ghanaian personalities who have over the years distinguished themselves in various endeavours.

The honoured included Mr. Jeffries Quaye who was instrumental in the formation of AGUS. He is a senior member of the Ga-Damgbe Union in Switzerland and the current organising secretary of Agus.The other honorees were Mr. Yao Kpodoh and Mr Leeford Acquaye, a founding member of AGUS.

In a post interview with Graphic Showbiz, Mr. Philip Wangyimba, a member of the organising team said he was excited that Ghana Day Festival had been a unique platform to promote Ghana’s culture. "Patronage from Europeans since we started in 2018 has been encouraging and we appreciate the efforts of the team to always make the event a success,” he added.
